As well, the 2008 Beach Cruize weekend will introduce a whole bunch of
new events such as:

Corvette Restorer Zone - Big Block Rat Power (9
am - 3 pm on Saturday & Sunday) - Restorer zone is going to be a highlight of the show this year where
our members and sponsors will display their in-progress and recently
restored Corvettes. Restorer Zone will have displays to walk you
through the restoration process. The restorers will available
to answer any questions and potentially assist you with your
restoration.
The theme for this year is a tribute to the big
block rat engines of the late 60s and early 70s. We will have a 1967 400 tri-power on display as well as a 1967 435 hp corvette (11,000 original miles) and a 1972 454. We hope everyone enjoys this new event.

Corvette Challenge (Saturday) -
The Corvette Challenge
(The New Funkana) is a team-based competition where clubs or
corvette associations compete in a series of fun corvette related
events. We will be awarding the winners of the
activities with gift certificates to shop at the CorvetteGuys.com:

Technical Ability (Saturday 11 am): We are going to conduct a
tire-change competition. Each member of
the winning team will receive a $25 gift certificate for the
CorvetteGuys.com

Corvette Knowledge (Saturday 1 pm): We are going to conduct a
Millionaire Trivia Competition (Corvette
Style). The 50/50, ask a team member, and ask the audience life
lines will be available. Each member of
the winning team will receive a $25 gift certificate for the
CorvetteGuys.com

Corvette Technical Clinics (Saturday) - We
will be conducting a series of technical sessions under our special
events tent addressing a variety Corvette topics. GM certified technicians from Mike Jackson Chevrolet, product specialists from
our sponsors, and club members will conduct the technical
sessions.
- Purchasing A Vette With Confidence (Saturday 10 am):
WBCC will conduct a session that goes through the ABCs of buying a vette.
We will provide attendees a checklist of things to check when purchasing a vette. We will also provide a
mild 101 introduction into the numbers game and educating everyone on the real definition of numbers
matching.

Restoration Tips For C1, C2, & C3s (Saturday 10:30 am):
WBCC
will conduct a session that provides recommendations for to restoring
key aspects of your early year vette such as engine, drive-train,
frame, suspension, & interior.
- Performance Upgrades That Matter For C4, C5, & C6s (Saturday 12
pm):
Manny from
Engineered Corvette Products
(also a
key member of the Corvette Forum) is going to conduct a session that provides recommendations for getting
the most performance out of your performance upgrade budget. He’s going to address many of the
performance upgrade myths in the industry.
- Secrets To Perfect Paint
(Saturday 12:30 pm):
Brett from Brett's Vettes is going to conduct a session that goes through the ABCs
of a perfect paint job. He’s going to prepare a hood to
demonstrate the proper stages of the paint process.
  - Keep'em Tuned
(Saturday 2 pm):
Technicians from Mike Jackson GM will conduct a session that provides
recommendations for keeping
your vette will maintained and tuned.

Corvette Spa (9 am - 3 pm on Saturday) - Our goal this year
is to provide activities for all members of the family. Our
locally accredited estheticians and massage therapist will create a
unique Corvette Spa experience for members of the family not solely
interested in admiring vettes all day long.

Installers Alley (9 am - 3 pm on Saturday & Sunday) - Manny from
Engineered Corvette Products (also a key member of the Corvette Forum) will be showcasing several performance products
targeted at C4, C5, and C6 corvettes. Manny will be providing corvette owners with performance tuning/upgrading services
on-site at the event.

For Sale Corvette Corral (9 am - 3 pm on Saturday & Sunday) - Attention all
corvette buyers and sellers, we are going to provide Corvette Corral
centrally located next to Vettemart where the only goal is to bring
buyers and sellers together.

On-Site Appraisals and Insurance Advice (9 am
- 3 pm on Saturday & Sunday) - If you don't have an
appraisal for your vette or your appraisal is several years old,
Roland Gardetti will be back for another year providing on-site
appraisals. Partnering with Lant Insurance (Silver
Wheels Plan), we will provide you with the information and appraisal
services you need to ensure the investment in your vette is properly
protected.

Amusement Park (Saturday & Sunday) -
This year the Town of Wasaga Beach is organizing an amusement park
at the location affected by the fire. Clean-up efforts have
been completed and the beach is looking great for another year of
fun. The amusement park will provide a lot of fun for the whole
family.
